Sizing is approximate. Most of our items are constructed of very lightweight 4-way stretch lycra fabrics. Different fabrics tend to fit slightly differently. If in doubt, contact us. We are always happy to answer your questions. Please use the info below as a general rule of thumb.
Please note that different fabrics produce different overall fits. Similar fabrics are grouped together on the swimwear pages. All photos on our website show the items in the STANDARD cut. Standard nylon spandex produces the snuggest fit, SUPERSATINS produce the fit most true to our standard sizing guidelines, matte satin/lycra produces a stretchier item with a slightly "looser" fit. If in doubt, please feel free to contact us regarding any questions in size or recommended pouch adjustments before ordering.

POUCH SIZE Pouch size is the same for each type of swim/undergear item regardless of waist size. We are happy to CUSTOMIZE the pouch size in 1/4 inch increments for your own personal fit at no extra charge. However, we recommend that if this is your first purchase, please select the STANDARD option in our SUPERSATIN fabrics to use as a guide. Only STANDARD pouch items are return/exchangeable, custom pouch items (+/-) are non-returnable.
To customize your pouch size: Place your order through our website for the standard item. Before sewing, the standard MP pouch is approximately 4 inches deep, the standard MPX pouch is approximately 5 inches deep. Immediately after placing your online order, please email us at sales@muscleskins.com with your requests for your custom pouch size. You must email us from the same email account that you used to place your order! You do not need to give us the transaction number, your first and last name will locate your order along with your email address. The MP can be customized as -1/4" or +1/4" only. The MPX can be customized as -1/2", -1/4", +1/4", +1/2", +3/4", +1", +1-1/4", +1-1/2". The PRO pouch will be a standard PRO or our PRO PLUS as listed in the item's detailed description. If you wish to order a standard PRO item but wish to change it to a PRO PLUS pouch, please send us an email as described above. There is no charge for these customizations. If you order multiple items, please be specific as to which items require the custom pouches. We will send you an email to confirm your requests. If you need additional customizations, please contact us.
SEAT COVERAGE We offer 4 standard seats in most swim/undergear items. Depending on your own body-type, each may fit differently. FULL SEAT offers the most coverage for men with a larger bottom. V-SEAT is a leaner atheletic cut seat for well toned physiques and will show more "cheek". RIO SEAT fits midway between our FULL seat and THONG, it is a triangle shape that tends to stay in place while offering minimal coverage. THONG is a narrow T-back. If you require a more custom fit beyond these options, please contact us. Actual seat coverage will vary based upon body-type and fabric choice.
